The numbers of people involved in the January and February 2003 emergency is actually significantly larger than indicated in the table above, as those numbers have only been taken from lists of crew sent out or on immediate standby at the station. It does not include those working at the station co-ordinating, servicing trucks, answering phones and radios, or those standing by at home in case of emergency callout.
